Increased understanding of range of personal, and public broadcast methods and awareness of the impressions of the audience. It can encourage reflection & academic reasoning skills through feedback and discussion.

 

What Works:

• Scaffolded approach to using online discussions to generate confidence in public presentation
• Use of online meetings (Skype, NetMeeting,) to save travel time and enhance the University’s green credentials
• Use of shared data stores (eg Sharepoint, wikis, Dropbox and other cloud storage) as opposed to sending files between users
