Digital Literacy at NTU

What is Digital Literacy?

“Those capabilities which fit an individual for living, learning and working in a digital society” (JISC 2011)

For example:

“The term ‘digital literacy’ relates to: the functional skills of knowing about and using digital technology effectively; the ability to analyse and evaluate digital information; knowing how to act sensibly, safely and appropriately online and understanding how, when, why and with whom to use technology.“ (BECTA 2010)

This interactive digital literacy graphic links into the NTU CAS Digital literacy Framework which is based on the JISC digital literacy info kit.
