Editing metadata of a learning resource published to NTU's learning repositories
- Log into NOW and go to the learning room which holds the original copy of your resource
- Click on Content on the navigation bar
- Click on Go to learning repository
- Conduct a search to find your resource
Search tips:
Searches are not case sensitive.
Results include all the words that you type in the Search for: field. For example, if you search for mineral sciences, the results will include matches for both mineral and sciences. However, the matches would not necessarily have mineral sciences included as a phrase.
To search for a phrase, enclose the phrase in speech marks, for example "Mineral Sciences".
Search results show a list of resources which contain your search criteria anywhere in the title, description, or keyword field, and for some file types* your search criteria anywhere in the body of the resource. * web pages, PDF files, Word documents and plain text files
- From the search results, use the item's dropdown menu to select View Details
- Under the Overview tab, to the right of the resource name, click on the Edit Metadata icon
- Make the required changes
- Click Save - the metadata is now amended .
